MEET KATHI SOHN

Kathi Sohn is a trauma-informed mentor, author, and speaker who helps business moms of teens uncover the hidden survival patterns driving overwhelm, over-functioning, emotional exhaustion, and disconnection at work and at home. With more than 25 years of experience and a deeply personal understanding of generational healing, she helps high-capacity women connect the dots between the emotional coping strategies formed earlier in life and the patterns still shaping their leadership, relationships, parenting, and sense of self today.

Kathi is the author of the international bestselling and award-winning book, You Made It Up, Now Stop Believing It, and the creator of a transformational methodology centered on emotional awareness, nervous system healing, and breaking generational cycles at the root. Her work resonates with women who appear successful on the outside but quietly feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck repeating the same emotional patterns despite years of personal growth work.

Blending practical insight with emotional depth, Kathi brings a grounded and compassionate perspective to conversations about motherhood, leadership, identity, communication, and what it means to heal while raising the next generation.

Through her signature program for moms, Break the Cycle, Build a New Legacy™, Kathi supports emotionally aware but overwhelmed moms to heal the wounds they grew up with, regulate their nervous systems, and show up with presence and purpose in their relationship with their teen. Her mentorship is not about managing teen behavior—it’s about becoming the healed, grounded woman your child feels safe to connect with.

With over 25 years of combined lived experience and mentorship, Kathi brings a rare blend of emotional intelligence, practical tools, and deep empathy to her work. Whether speaking on stage, leading a group coaching call, or supporting a mom through her first vow discovery, Kathi creates a space where emotional honesty is honored and generational healing is made possible.

Her message is simple and powerful: You don’t have to parent from pain. When you heal, your child feels it. And that changes everything.
